You scanned a five-page contract and ended up with five separate files. Or there's a blank page sitting in the middle of a report. Or page three came out of the scanner sideways. None of these are hard problems, but they're annoying ones — and they usually send people hunting for five different single-purpose tools.
One workspace instead of five tools
It's much easier to see the whole document at once. Load one or more PDFs, and every page turns into a thumbnail you can pick up and move. Merging, reordering, rotating, and deleting all become the same simple gesture: dragging a page around, or hovering over it and clicking a button. No juggling files between separate converters.
How to reorganize a PDF
- Open PDF Studio and drop your PDF in. Drop several at once, or use Add PDF later, to merge them into one.
- Drag the thumbnails to put the pages in the order you want.
- Hover over any page to rotate a sideways scan, duplicate it, or delete a blank or unwanted page.
- To pull out just a few pages, tick them and choose Extract selected. To save the whole reordered document, click Export PDF.
Because the pages are copied rather than rasterized, the exported file keeps its original text — so it stays searchable and selectable, and the quality is untouched.
The jobs this covers
- Merging a stack of separate scans into a single document.
- Deleting a blank page or a duplicate.
- Rotating a page that came in upside down or sideways.
- Splitting off a few pages into their own file.
- Reversing the page order of a back-to-front scan.
Grabbed the wrong file? Hit Clear all to empty the workspace and start over, instead of deleting pages one by one.
