A typical speaking pace is around one hundred and thirty to one hundred and fifty words a minute for clear delivery, faster for energetic content, slower for careful explanation — so the pace you choose matters as much as the word count. Remember the estimate covers only spoken words; pauses, visuals, demonstrations, intros and transitions all add real time on top, so a video usually runs longer than the script alone suggests.
